North Greenville finishes sixth at Conference Carolinas tournament

Snow Hill, N.C. – North Greenville men's golf finished its 2022 season with a sixth place finish at the Conference Carolinas Championships. 
 
The Crusaders finished with a team total 901 with round totals of 302, 305, and 294. King University won the tournament with a total of 887 while Barton College finished second with an 890. Mount Olive, Erskine, and Belmont Abbey rounded out the top-five. 
 
Daniel Planchook led North Greenville with a 219, finishing fifth overall. Planchook shot a team-best 71 in the opening round and finished with a 75 and 73 over the final two rounds of play. Zachary McDermid finished tied for 15th but improved each round. McDermid shot a 78, 76, and shot a 73 to finish out the tournament. 
 
Miller Harbin shot a 231 and finished 26th. He shot an 83, 75, and a 73, improving 10-strokes from his first to final round. Jack Wright shot a 233 with scores of 75, 83, and 75 while Kobie Morton shot a 78, 79, and 80. Wright finished 30th while Morton finished 35th.
