Crusaders finish 17th after three rounds in Greenwood

Greenwood, S.C. – Men's Golf continued its march towards the Conference Carolinas Championships this week with a 17th place finish at the Bearcat Golf Classic. 
 
As a team the Crusaders finished with a total of 904, shooting a 300, 308, and a 296 in three rounds at Greenwood Country Club. Tournament winner Barton finished with a team total of 854. 
 
Zachary McDermid led North Greenville with a total of 223. McDermid shot a 77, 74, and 72 and finished tied for 38th. Miller Harbin finished 49th, shooting a 72 in round one followed by a 78 and 75. 
 
Daniel Planchook carded a 79, 77, and 75 while Trey Cauthen carded a 77, 82, and a 74 for a total of 233. Planchook finished with a total of 231 for three rounds. Karsten Shields finished with a total of 234, shooting a 74, 79, and 81. 
 
Next Up 
The Crusaders will play in the Tennessee River Rumble on March 28th in Lenoir-City, Tennessee.
