Tigerville – The Crusaders swept doubles play on Friday and picked up three-more singles wins to help clinch their first win of the season with a 4 – 3 decision over King.
Santiago Alvarez and
Anthony Cassini got things going with a 6 – 1 win while
Lucas Cardoso and
David Velasco added a 6 – 2 win to clinch the doubles point.
Tuur Vos and Kyle Paschan secured the sweep with a 6 – 3 win.
Cassini stayed hot in the singles portion Friday with a 6 – 0, 6 – 1 win followed by Velasco who inched NGU closer with a 6 – 3, 6 -2 win. The match clinching victory came from
Tuur Vos who won his singles match 3 – 6, 6 – 1, 7 – 5.
Santiago Alvarez fell 7 – 5, 4 – 6, 5 – 7, while Praschan dropped a 2 – 6, 2 – 6 set.
