North Greenville Wins By Double Digits Against Lees-McRae

Tigerville, SC - NGU posted a double-digit victory against the Bobcats of Lees-McRae College at Hayes Gymnasium with a final score of 62-52. North Greenville posted a field goal percentage just under .400 despite going four of twenty-four from three point range. Both teams struggled to limit turnovers as the Crusaders would finish the game with twenty-five turnovers while the Bobcats posted their share of turnovers as well with twenty-three. The two teams ended up even in steals with twelve each. After leading by just one point at the end of the 1st quarter, North Greenville would completely dominate the 2nd quarter, jumping out to a thirteen point lead at halftime. Lees-McRae would slightly outscore the Crusaders in the 3rd and 4th quarters, but NGU would still keep a comfortable lead to ultimately win without much suspense.

  • Jayda Glass put together an impressive performance, posting fourteen points, six assists, three rebounds, and a steal.
  • Despite getting off to a slow start, Haylee Luttrell once again put up double digit points with fourteen. She also provided four rebounds and three steals.
  • Tolisha Walker hit double-digits in rebounds with fourteen, seven of them offensive and seven of them defensive.
