Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders are still looking for their first victory of the season after a 62-57 loss to the Lions of Mars Hill University this afternoon at Hayes Gymnasium. Offensive rebounds proved to be the key difference as sixteen offensive rebounds for the Lions led to nine second chance points while NGU was only able to score two second chance points off of eight offensive rebounds. After the two teams remained even after one quarter, the Crusaders outscored the Lions 11-8 in the second quarter to take an 28-25 lead into halftime. However, Mars Hill was able to outscore NGU in both the third and fourth quarter to take a five point victory back to Mars Hill.

• Abi Oates led the Crusaders with seventeen points. She also provided three rebounds, a block, and an assist.
