Tigerville, S.C. – Men's Tennis fell to Mars Hill College 5 – 2 on Tuesday in the Fall Season opener for the Crusaders.
The Lions earned the doubles point with a pair of wins in the first and second doubles spots. North Greenville tallied one doubles win when
Santiago Alvarez and
Anthony Cassini won 6 – 4.
The Crusaders got a pair of wins in singles play.
Lucas Cardoso pulled out a three set win by scores of 6 – 3, 4 – 6, 14 – 12 while
Jude Wilkey earned a three set victory with scores of 6 – 4, 2 – 6, 10 – 7.
Tuur Vos fell 3 – 6, 3 – 6 while
Dean Kingsley battled but fell in three sets by scores of 3 – 6, 6 – 4, 8 – 10.
Joao Di Salvi lost 4 – 6, 3 – 6, and
Santiago Alvarez lost 2 – 6, 0 – 6.
