North Greenville officially entered the win column in their first conference game of the season with a 1-0 victory against the Hawks of Chowan University this afternoon in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. The Crusaders dominated the shot count 21-7 with fourteen of those shots on goal. Only one save was required by goalkeeper Lizzy Luzzi as only one of Chowan's seven shots was on goal. The Hawks would record a total of thirteen saves, but Megan Biehl was able to break through for what would go on to become the winning goal in the 25th minute.
