Tigerville – Women's Tennis was left searching for its first win on Wednesday after a 7-0 loss to Lander.
In doubles,
Jhovana Brena and
Mitzy Enderink battled but fell 7-5 while
Makena Newsome and
Merit Morgan Fell 6-0.
Larissa Berger and
Naomi Sakakibara also were in contention late but fell 7-5.
Jhovana Brena and
Larissa Berger both went to three sets but came up short. Brena lost her match 1-6/6-1/8-10 while Berger fell 4-6/6-4/11-9.
Mitzy Enderink also lost a three-set decision 6-1/4-6/9-11. Makenna Newson fell 6-0/6-0 while
Naomi Sakakibara fell 6-1/6-0. Hanna Sepko also lost a 6-0/6-0 decision.
