Tigerville – North Greenville lost a non-conference match with Lander University on Wednesday falling 6-1 to the bearcats.
The Crusaders battled to a pair of close finishes in double's play but came up short with the teams of
Alex Kostka and
Tuur Vos and
Lucas Cardoso and
Anthony Cassini both falling 7-6. The third loss in doubles came as
Giacomo Garini and
Kyle Praschan fell 6-3.
North Greenville's only win of the came from
Alex Kostka in singles. Kostka won his solo match by matching scores of 7-5 to down Adam Elliget. Other scores included
Tuur Vos who fell 6-2/6-1,
Kyle Praschan who dropped a 6-0/6-0 decision, and
Giacomo Garini who lost 6-1/6-4.
Lucas Cardoso lost 6-2/6-1 while
Anthony Cassini fell 6-0/6-0.
