NGU women's lacrosse took a dominating 25-3 victory against the Flying Fleet of Erskine College this afternoon in Due West, South Carolina. The Crusaders posted a total of 42 shots with 32 on goal while allowing just 10 shots with 7 on goal. Dani O'Meara led the way with 5 goals.

• Just one minute into the game, the Crusaders would get on the board with a free position goal by Rachel Kellogg. After an equalizer by Erskine, NGU would pull away with a 8-0 run including two by Ashley Thatcher and goals by Olivia Foltz, Rachel Kellogg, Sydney Ormond, Emma Mayew, Emily Zambrano, and McKenna Kees. The Flying Fleet would score their second goal of the game about halfway through the opening half, but NGU would dominate the remainder of the 1st half, scoring eleven in a row to lead 20-2 at halftime. The run included four goals by Dani O'Meara, two by Olivia Foltz, two by Ashley Thatcher, two by Emma Mayer, and one by Sydney Starkey.
• With the game in hand, the Crusaders would take it easy in the 2nd half but would still manage five goals including two by Ainsley Woodham, one by O'Meara, one by Danielle LaPlume, and one by Meagan Brannen. Erskine posted one goal in the 2nd half. Goalkeepers McKenna Kees and Karlee Jenks each played a half and recorded 2 saves each.

• Dani O'Meara put together an impressive performance, scoring 5 goals and providing 2 assists while also recording 2 ground balls and a caused turnover.
