Crusaders drop close match to Erskine

Box Score Due West – North Greenville remains one of three teams in Conference Carolinas without a loss this spring following a 1 – 1 tie Sunday at Erskine.

  • North Greenville finished the day with nine-shots compared to 17-shots for Erskine. The Fleet finished with 11-shots in the first half. Both finished with six in the second period. 
  • The Fleet were able to capitalize on an early attempt, scoring the go-ahead goal in the 29th minute. North Greenville tested the Erskine keeper a couple times in the final 45-minutes but came up empty. 
  • Erskine finished the day with two saves while North Greenville notched five saves in the 90-minute regulation.
