North Greenville extended its first winning streak of the season to two games with a 64-59 overtime victory over the Flying Fleet of Erskine College in Due West, South Carolina. After a solid opening quarter for both teams, NGU struggled to get going in the second and third, failing to score a point in the first four minutes of the two quarters. However, NGU would continue to fight, closing out the two quarters on a strong note. The fourth quarter proved to be North Greenville's best of the game, making six of thirteen shots from the field. Overtime was required, but the Crusaders made most of their shots, shooting a perfect four of four from the field while the Fleet made just one shot on nine attempts to help the Crusaders escape Due West with the win.
Tolisha Walker tied a team record by recording twenty rebounds in the game. The record has been held by Krisceda Cotton, who set the record just two days short of ten years ago at Mars Hill in 2011.
