Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders fell to the Tornado of King University with a score of 72-60 tonight at Hayes Gymnasium. NGU struggled from the three point line, going 6-26 from outside the perimeter. Turnovers also proved to be costly as King would score a total of 22 points off turnovers, ten more than the Crusaders.

Recap
- King would get the game going with five straight points, but the Crusaders instantly responded with five of their own. Two three pointers and a jumper would put the Tornado up by eight. After North Greenville was able to cut the deficit back down to one, King ended the quarter by scoring the final seven points to lead 21-13 after one.
- The Tornado continued to carry the momentum as NGU began the second quarter on a cold run, allowing King to jump out to a fourteen point lead. King would lead by as much as sixteen in the quarter, but the Crusaders would put up a fight with eight straight points to get back in the game trailing by just seven at the half.
- The opening points of the third quarter were scored by the Tornado, but a 17-6 run by the Crusaders would give them their first lead of the game. However, King would go on a run to take the lead back and carry a six point lead into the fourth quarter.
- King would continue to open up the lead in the fourth quarter, leading by double digits throughout the majority. NGU would shoot just 22.22% from the field in the quarter as the Tornado would ultimately take a twelve point victory back to Bristol.
Individual
- Haylee Luttrell continued her streak of scoring double digit points, posting seventeen points along with six rebounds and two steals.
- Tolisha Walker recorded a season-high sixteen rebounds. She also contributed with eight points, an assist, a block, and a steal.
- Abi Oates hit double digit points with eleven. She also put up three rebounds and two assists.
