Box Score Bristol, TN—North Greenville women’s soccer dropped a tough Conference Carolinas road game on Saturday as King University earned a 5-1 decision over the Crusaders.
The Tornado got off to a quick start in the first half finding the goal in just the seventh minute. King added two more goals in the first period to take a 3-0 lead into halftime.
The Tornado added one more goal in the 49th minute before Lindsay Tuten scored the Crusaders’ first of the game to cut the lead to 4-1. One more goal from the Tornado in the 56th minute would put NGU in a 5-1 hole.
The loss to the Tornado dropped North Greenville to 2-7 overall and 0-5 in Conference Carolinas play. The Crusaders will take on Emmanuel College on Thursday at 5:30pm.
