The North Greenville Trailblazers left Dahlonega, Georgia with a 4-2 victory over the 11th ranked Nighthawks of the University of North Georgia. NGU took an early lead with a double steal in the 1st inning. UNG would respond with a run in both the 2nd and 3rd innings. That lead would last until the 6th inning when a
Mason Swinney home run evened the score at 2-2. After two more scoreless innings,
Connor McKee came through with a two-RBI single up the middle.
Kadan Roach earned the save with a scoreless bottom of the 9th to secure the win.
Thomas Skipper, who threw one pitch, which was the final out in the 8th inning, was the winning pitcher. The win improves North Greenville's overall record to 22-6.
