Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Trailblazers took care of business in their first conference game of the 2026 season, shutting out the Tornado of King University with a final score of 11-0 at Ray & Bea Dillard Field. NGU took the lead early and pulled away further throughout the afternoon. Things began with a solo shot by
Josh Foulks in the 1st inning. Foulks would add the second run of the game in the 3rd with an RBI single. RBIs by
Jan Pospisil and
Skyler Hegler added to the lead in the 3rd to make the score 4-0. In the 4th, Foulks came through once again with another solo home run.
Mason Swinney added to the lead in the 5th with a two-RBI single. North Greenville's biggest inning came in the 7th with four runs including a two-RBI double by
Landon Peavy and RBI singles by Foulks and
Cooper Noble.
Matty Brown, who started the game on the mound took the win.
Josh Foulks put together an impressive afternoon, hitting 2Â home runs and totaling 4 hits, 4 RBIs, and 3 runs scored.
Skyler Hegler recorded 3 hits, a walk, an RBI, and a run scored.
CJ Dean went 3 for 3 at the plate with a walk and a run scored.
The series will conclude tomorrow with a doubleheader beginning at noon.
