The North Greenville Trailblazers fell to the Hawks of Chowan University with a final score of 69-57 this afternoon in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. After getting off to a slow start, NGU overcame a nine point deficit to lead by as much as eight in the 2nd quarter, going into halftime with a 32-26 lead. A closely-contested 3rd quarter resulted in North Greenville hanging onto a three point lead. However, the 4th quarter turned into a disaster for North Greenville as foul trouble would lead to seventeen points off of free throws for the Hawks. NGU was outscored in the quarter 24-9 even though their eight points as a result of field goals outscored Chowan's seven. The Trailblazers finished the game with a .308 field goal percentage.
