Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders began their 2023 season with a 22-7 loss to the Saints of Limestone University this afternoon at Pepsi Stadium. NGU was able to hang tough with the Saints in the opening quarter, trailing by three at the end of it. However, from there Limestone would take over the game, posting fifteen of the final eighteen goals. Turnovers proved to be costly as NGU would turn the ball over seventeen times with the Saints committing nine of their own. On a positive note, NGU did lead the way in draw controls, besting Limestone in the category 18-12.
