Birmingham – D'Iveon Donald,
Kwame Livingston, and
Myles Prosser have earned Pre-Season All-Conference honors from the Gulf South Conference it was announced by the league on Wednesday morning.
Three pre-season honorees is the most since NGU joined the league in 2018 and the first selections since
Aaron Watson prior to the 2019 season.
Donald was one of North Greenville's biggest playmakers on defense this season finishing second on the team with 62 total tackles including five tackles for a loss. His 62-tackles ranked him top-five in the league among defenders. Donald broke-up three passes in pass defense and recovered a fumble. Donald tacked on a pair of quarterback hurries. He is the first Freshman of the Year for NGU as a member of the Gulf South. He was second team All-Conference last season and was named the Gulf South Conference Freshman of the year on defense.
Kwame Livingston drew the attention of offensive coordinators last season, leading the North Greenville defensive line in tackles. Livingston finished with 44-stops including 22 solo tackles. He finished tied for second on the team with 2 sacks with four hurries and also forced a fumble. He also helped in the passing game knocking down a pass.
Myles Prosser was an instant upgrade to North Greenville's special teams, leading the league in four different categories. He booted the ball for a total of 2,486-yards, an average of 44-yards per kick, both of which were first in the GSC. He also led the league in punts of 50-yards or more by a wide margin with 19 while also booming the league's longest punt of the year which was 70-yards. He finished with 18-kicks inside the 20-yardline and forced 13-fair catches.
