Wingate, N.C. – Women's Lacrosse dropped a non-conference game to Wingate University on Saturday, falling 20-5 to the Bulldogs.
North Greenville got on the board first when Dani O'meara scored less than a minute in to the game. Wingate answered with nine unanswered scores in the first period to take an eight goal lead.
The Bulldogs added seven more in the second period to extend the lead to 16-1 at halftime. A pair of scores in each of the third and fourth quarter made it a 20-goal game for the Bulldogs.
North Greenville was back on the offensive attack in the fourth quarter. O'Meara scored twice more in the game while
McCayla Richard and
Emma Mayew also found the net.
