Greenville, S.C. – North Greenville men's cross country turned in a solid opening race performance on Saturday morning finishing fourth overall at the Furman Invitational in Greenville. The Trailblazers finished as the top Division II team in the field with 117 – points. 

Joel Herman led the Trailblazers finishing 30th overall. Herman was the top Division II finisher among 22 D-2 participants. with a time of 19:49.0. Joseph McBride followed in 40th at 20:16.9, while Noah Taylor placed 43rd in 20:27.2 and Kai Johnson finished 44th in 20:29.4.

Josiah Ashton rounded out the Trailblazers' top five with a 47th-place finish in 20:46.2. Parker Branham, Kendall Wilcher, Chas Brewer, Samuel Wood, Brady Chavis and Cole Woods also competed for North Greenville.
