Tigerville - North Greenville picked up a mid-week non conference win on Wednesday night as they held off a Columbia College surge late in the fourth quarter, earning a 64 - 57 win over the Koalas. 

North Greenville gained the lead in the first quarter and never trailed from that point and led by double - digits multiple times but had to hold off the Koalas who continued to claw back in the the game including pulling to within four points in the third quarter after trailing by 13 - points. NGU answered with a 14 - 4 run to create some distance and closed out the third period with a last second lay-up from Ja'Sia Booth to extend the lead to 15. The Koalas would continue to hang around however, even after trailing by 18 - points multiple times in the fourth. NGU's lead would dwindle down to just six points with 33 - seconds left in the game but North Greenville would survive the scare to improve to 8 - 11 on the season. 

Janyia Williams led the Trailblazers on Wednesday a double-double, scoring 13 - points to go along with 10 rebounds. She added a block and a steal on defense. Maliyah mason finished with eight points and six rebounds. All 11 - players who played for NGU on Wednesday entered the scoring column.  After Wednesday's win the Trailblazers have already surpassed last season's win total.
